Reuters points out that some of the most successful designers living today are in their 70s. Ralph Lauren is 70; Giorgio Armani is 75; Karl Lagerfeld is 76. Is there a shortlist of successors, surely. Do the designers want to talk about it. Um, no comment. The Cut

And speaking of new ventures, Lacroix’s label maybe bankrupt but he’s been busy designing uniforms for French service personnel. He’s outfitted workers for Tézo, TGV and Air France. His latest uniforms are for 20,000 employees of French railway operator SNCF. The Cut
