Where to find Leonardo DiCaprio, Kristen Stewart and Kendall Jenner hanging out in Los Angeles when they’re off the clock? Put on your best slinky dress and heels and head to one of these four clubs now. Hope you’re on the list.
Nightclubs and lounges seem to come and go every week in Los Angeles. One minute, a place can be the hottest spot in town, with every famous face in Hollywood walking in and out of its doors, and the next it can be as irrelevant as last week’s Variety. Here, four of L.A.’s buzziest after-hours spots right now. Put on your best slinky dress and heels and head over now. Hope you’re on the list.
The Spot: The Peppermint Club, in the former Hooray Henry’s space in West Hollywood.
The A List: Lady Gaga, Cody Simpson, Skylar Grey, Dave Chappelle, and more.
The Vibe: The ’60s-inspired space by Interscope Records and h.wood Group (the team that’s also behind L.A. hot spots like Delilah, The Nice Guy, and Bootsy Bellows) pays homage to the historic live music venues of the past, such as Whiskey A Go Go. The music lounge, which opened its doors in January, has already hosted performances by the likes of Chappelle and Aloe Blacc.

The Spot: Girl at the White Horse on Western Ave, by Reza Fahim (also the guy behind Tenants of the Trees in Silver Lake).
The A List: James Franco, Kristen Stewart, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, and more A-list stars have all been known to show their faces here.
The Vibe: Step inside this bright pink, funky spot and you’ll instantly be transported. If you don’t want to be seen, there are plenty of private nooks to hide out in. As for the drinks, they keep them simple here, with a max of three ingredients in the cocktails.
The Spot: Catch L.A. in West Hollywood.
The A List: Kendall Jenner (who celebrated her birthday dinner here with the whole Kardashian clan), David Beckham, Miranda Kerr, Cindy Crawford, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, and the list goes on and on. It would hard to go to Catch right now and not see at least one famous face.
The Vibe: This massive indoor/outdoor space functions as a restaurant but more than anything, it’s a see-and-be-seen hangout. Go early, get a table for dinner, and stay until the wee hours. You’ll be rubbing shoulders with supermodels, like Alessandra Ambrosio, and the men who worship them, like Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Spot: Delilah in West Hollywood.
The A List: Justin Bieber, Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams, Kendall Jenner, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Lautner, Lamar Odom—it really runs the gamut here in terms of the crowd. It’s easy to imagine Jay Gatsby might have been seen here back in the day.
The Vibe: The glamorous 1920s-style lounge, the newest outpost by h.wood Group, is a nod to Hollywood’s Golden Era. Plush booths line the sides of the walls and in the center of the room, there are live music acts and glitzy dancers swaying to the tunes. There space doubles as both a restaurant (with a robust wine and cocktail list) and a nightclub, but the people watching is the real draw here.
