Pernille Teisbaek of Look de Pernille

When Danish stylist and blogger Pernille Teisbaek isn’t in front of the camera, modeling for the likes of Zara and Closed or posing for street style photographers, she’s behind it, documenting it all for her sizable social following. Thanks to her cool minimalist aesthetic and catchy, upbeat captions, her @LookdePernille Instagram account has over 190,000 devoted followers (and counting). We asked the style star to share her secrets for social media success.

Occupation: Stylist & Blogger

Define your Instagram style in three hashtags:

lookdepernille #scandistyle #ilovecéline

What is your favorite thing to post? Whatever inspires me – everything from a catwalk picture to art.

How many selfies do you take before posting? Enough.

The one thing you would never post: Never say never, but I find food pictures pretty boring.

#Nofilter or filter? The perfect picture doesn’t need a filter, but everyone has their bad days.

Favorite editing app: Afterlight.

Most geo-tagged location: A mix between airports and my second home, the office at Low Studios in Copenhagen.

Greatest hits: It’s quite funny, but people always react really positively when I post about changing my hairstyle.

Your first Instagram: May 2012 – drinking coffee with my friend Malene.

Your secret to social media success? Keep the pictures coming.

5 favorite accounts to follow: I can’t choose only five, so here comes my absolute favorites. @Wmag, of course! @NatalieHartleyWears has amazing style and the same love for denim as me. @Jonathan.Anderson because I’m such a fan and admirer of his work for @JW_Anderson and @Loewe. He posts lots of good inspiration. @Cathrinerabendavidsen is one of my favorite Danish artists. @TommyTon is spot on capturing amazing street style muses. @InezVinoodh rock—I love their work. @ManRepeller has such a cool style and her captions are hilarious.

The secret to getting a great runway shot: A front row seat and a good iPhone.
