Brian Atwood, the designer known for eye-popping shoes for any party girl, of course threw an eye-popping 50th birthday for himself in Mykonos with guests including Lindsay Lohan, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, Peter Dundas, Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared2, celebrity hair and makeup artist Joey Maalouf, and more ripped male models in speeds that you could shake a stick out.

The American shoe designer, who was once a model himself and previously worked for Versace before launching his own line, went all out for the big 5-0. While we can’t quite piece together an official agenda, the Instagram evidence of the weekend paints a picture of lots of poolside parties, beach time, yacht rides, and, the main event, a gold-themed nighttime bacchanal.

Atwood kicked off the Instagramming himself, by posting a photo of some of his friends, including male models Chad White and Gonçalo Teixeira, striking a pose in matching swimwear. “My #BAgold boys are ready for tomorrow!!!!”

Meanwhile, Teixeira also posted a photo on a yacht with Lindsay Lohan and self-proclaimed jetsetter and “rich kid of Instagram” Emir Bahadir (who followed up with his own group shot).

Chad White posted a photo of himself with the birthday boy.

Lohan and Bahadir were also there for the occasion.

But the real party was at the official gold-themed blowout.

Designer Peter Dundas and partner Evangelo Bousis showed up in theme.

Marie Claire creative director Nina Garcia showed up.

As did Caroline Vreeland.

Jewelry designer Kat Blink had a slideshow-worthy time.

Olivier Rousteing showed up.

All in all, a fittingly extravagant party for a maker of extravagant party shoes held in Greece with tons of Greek god-worthy bodies.
