Krysten Ritter Shines Bright in Red and Gold
She’s not to be conflated with her on-screen alter-ego Jessica Jones, thank you very much.

What: A cherry red Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2016 dress with gold peep-toe heels.
Why: Let’s ignore for a moment that she’s wearing the precise shade of red that also colors the Netflix logo (or maybe that’s the point?). Ritter’s Altuzarra dress plays with the shirtdress motif — buttons down the front and bib detailing around the collar, yet with an ambitious slit up the side and a strong shoulder. It’s a rare non-model who can pull off a center part, and gold accessories — clutch, jewelry, and peep-toe stilettos — glam up the whole ensemble. It’s very much not the look of her grungy, misanthropic on-screen alter ego.
