Armand Limnander is the Executive Editor of W. He is responsible for all the written content of the print publication, overseeing the editorial process from conception to completion, conceiving themed issues and developing recurring franchises. He also spearheads W’s digital “Studio Visit” series, which profiles artists in their creative environments. Limnander’s areas ofexpertise include fashion, art, culture, and design.
Prior to joining W in 2010, Limnander was the Features Director at T: The New York Times Style Magazine; the editor of V Man magazine; and a senior writer at Vogue and Style.com. He has published several books, including Becoming an Event Planner (Simon & Schuster), Brazilian Style (Assouline), and Private: Giancarlo Giammetti (Assouline).
Limnander grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to the United States to attend the University of California at Berkeley. He moved to New York shortly after graduation to begin his career in magazines.
