Victoria’s Secret Choreographer Jermaine Browne Demonstrates the Allure of Pole Dancing

Director Lucia Martinez and choreographer Jermaine Browne are reimagining the art of pole dancing. “My inspiration for this film has been women and the woman’s body and how we are seen in certain circumstances,” says Martinez. “Sometimes because of the beauty and sexiness of our bodies we are portrayed as objects. I wanted to empower women to feel proud for who they are and what they do.” The two creatives, along with pole art champion Irmingard Mayer, show off the under-appreciated art form.
