Zendaya Just Stepped Out with a Platinum Blonde Pixie, And, Of Course, She Looks Stunning
Zendaya loves to change up her look–in fact, you’ll rarely ever see the singer and actress wear the same hairstyle twice.
Throughout her career, she’s dabbled in long curls, afros, and even mullets (see her appearance at the 58th Grammy Awards in 2016 for proof). But on Monday evening at the 2017 Fashion Awards in London, the Spider-Man: Homecoming star hit the red carpet with a head-turning, platinum pixie cut just for the night without skipping a beat. She completed her look with a sheer, embellished black velvet gown and luminous skin.
Zendaya’s red carpet look was a far departure from the brunette, slicked back style she flaunted just the evening before on Sunday night at the London Evening Standard Theater Awards. And it may be the last time you see this particular ‘do. She explained the new pixie to her 45 million Instagram fanbase, writing,” A platinum blonde pixie tonight cause why not?”
Zendaya is the latest star to dabble with temporary platinum. Actress Lily Collins and model Emily Ratajkowski have both playfully posted images of themselves wearing blonde wigs on Instagram. Selena Gomez, on the other hand, is fully committed to her newly blonde locks. In a recent interview with E! News, she explained that she’s not going back to the dark side any time soon.
