For Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes, the $3 Million Fantasy Bra Was “A Little Bit Too Comfortable”

When Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes first tried on the $3 million dollar Fantasy Bra a month ago, she was grinning from ear to ear. “I love, love, love it,” the 25-year-old model, who walked in her fifth Victoria’s Secret fashion show this year, told W in October.

Backstage at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which was held last week at the Grand Palais in Paris, Tookes’s excitement had not yet diminished. “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe the day is finally here. I feel like I have been waiting ages to actually come to life!”

The Fantasy bra, which is made out of 450 carats of diamonds and includes a bodice constructed from more than 27,000 Swarovski crystals, was custom-made for Tookes, a process that included having a mold made of her upper body. “I could barely breathe, I couldn’t even play with my phone or do anything,” she said. But now she never wants to take it off. “Every time [I try on the Fantasy bra] it gets more and more comfortable, almost a little bit too comfortable so that I’m going to run out with it and keep it,” she said when the security guards were out of earshot.

Another thing Tookes is hoping to keep? Her hair and makeup. “It’s perfect for a holiday party, like New Year’s Eve,” she said. “I love that it’s very glamorous. In the past few years they’ve kind of toned it down a little bit, but now they are bringing the glamour back, which I know a lot of the girls are very happy about.” Veteran Angel Alessandra Ambrosio agreed. “I think this is the best makeup we’ve ever had,” she said. “I’m crazy about eyeliners, and today we have that sexy cat eye, glam girl look, but still natural.”

Now that is something Tookes can actually take home with her.
