Victoria Beckham, the poshest celeb-turned-beauty mogul around, is officially launching a line of skincare products.
The singer and fashion designer made her beauty world debut back in 2016 with a 14-piece collaboration with Estée Lauder. The chicly styled cache of smoky shadows and nude lip glosses (borrowed from Beckham’s own signature beauty look) was pure gold. Naturally, it sold out immediately, along with an even bigger reboot collection, which dropped last fall.
Now, Beckham is officially bringing her beauty brilliance to the skincare realm. “I am currently in the process of creating my own color, my own line of skincare creams, and a perfume,” Beckham said in a Facebook live session, as reported by New Beauty. “As a woman, I want to make the things that I need in my life, the things that are missing.”
There’s been no word on whether or not the new skincare line will be in conjunction with her Estée Lauder line, but Beckham did note she loved working with the cosmetics giant. “It was me developing what I wanted in my makeup bag,” she said. Her latest foray into beauty will be a similar process: Looking at the holes in her own skincare routine. “I make what I want in my life. It’s filling a gap.”
Currently, launch details are limited, as VB skincare is still in the early stages. “It’s going to be very scientific. I’m working with the best,” Beckham said. “I want to educate myself and learn as much as I can.” In other words, the icon is doing her homework so that the end product will (like everything she touches) be perfect.
