Travis Scott Has Reportedly “Cut Down on Work” to Spend His Nights With Daughter Stormi
Non-traditional couple Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott seem to have taken on very traditional roles in co-parenting newborn daughter Stormi Webster. A source told People this week that, while Jenner spends almost all of her time with their one-week-old daughter, Scott (né Jacques Webster) has been working during the day and spending nights with his daughter — an arrangement that, reportedly, works well for the couple. “Kylie and Travis are a good team,” the source said. “Travis is able to do his own thing during the day as well, but he helps Kylie out at night. He has cut down on work and only has a few shows coming up.”
The 25-year-old rapper may be holding onto his day job, but another source told the outlet that it doesn’t mean he’s not committed to his new family with Jenner, 20. “[He’s] very much involved — as his family,” the source said. “Kylie and Travis seem to be doing really well together. Kylie is so happy to be a mom.”
Earlier this week, another source told People that, although Jenner and Scott have been dating for almost a year and welcomed Stormi on February 1, they have no plans to get married and still have yet to move in together. “Kylie and Travis are not officially living together,” the insider said, noting that Scott does often sleep over at Jenner’s home. “He has his own place. They are co-parenting, though, and things are going great. They are together and happy…They’re just enjoying their little family.” The source added that Scott “has been great” as a father so far, and is “very sweet with his daughter.”
Since Jenner emerged from her self-imposed vow of silence last weekend to announce the birth of her daughter in a heartfelt Instagram post and mini documentary about her pregnancy, Stormi has already become an Instagram star in her own right. On Tuesday, Jenner posted a sweet photo of her daughter clutching her thumb (and revealed her baby’s name in the caption), which quickly broke Beyoncé’s record to become the most-liked photo ever on the social media site. A star has truly been born.
