What: The National Theatre gala celebrating the opening of new Broadway play “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” which stars Alexander Sharp.

When: Tuesday, October 7th.

Where: An exclusive performance of the play at the Barrymore Theatre was followed by a cocktail party and dinner at a private club in Manhattan.

Who: The evening’s hosts alone included Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, designer Michael Kors, National Theatre Director Designate Rufus Norris, Curious Incidentproducer Stuart Thompson, and actors Ruth Wilson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Damian Lewis and Dominic West. Naturally, a group such as this recruited an A-list audience: models Daria Strokous, Constance Jablonski, Kendall Jenner, and Karlie Kloss; directors Baz Luhrmann, Spike Jonze, and Cary Fukunaga; and actors Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Jackman, and John Lithgow.

Why: The entire cast celebrated their first performance by joining the starry group at dinner, kicking the spectacular show off in spectacular fashion.
