Sarah Jessica Parker Debuted Side-Swept Bangs on The Tonight Show
Sarah Jessica Parker‘s name is synonymous with wild, curly hair. So whenever she tries a drastically different hairstyle, fans tend to lose their minds. (Remember what happened when Carrie Bradshaw got a bob?)
On Tuesday night before an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 52-year-old actress teased her 4 million Instagram followers with a shocking hair transformation, posting a photo of her chopped blonde locks with the caption, “Not saying anything. X, SJ”. Parker’s longtime hairstylist Serge Normant quickly followed suit, reposting the same image with his own caption (“Not saying anything either! till tonight!!”), leaving fans to speculate about the transformation.
Moments later, though, Parker stepped out on Fallon’s stage, revealing her new side-swept bangs, and glossy, highlighted blowout–no curls in sight. For the occasion, Parker wore a monochromatic gray ensemble (including a Dolce & Gabbana top, and vibrant turquoise eyeshadow.
Though Parker is not typically one to follow trends, in this case she seems to be doing just that. Stars like Emma Watson, Lily Aldridge, and Emma Roberts have all experimented with bangs this year.
