Crazy for Reed Krakoff’s Spring Shoes

On his website, Reed Krakoff describes his shoes as “intelligently constructed; perfectly refined.” I can’t help but agree. I love everything about the Reed Krakoff style, from his simple knits to his chic leather satchels, but his shoe collections go above and beyond. Here are a few of my favorites for spring:
I love his classic asymmetrical pump. The shape is flattering and feminine. I normally steer clear of a pump without a platform but this 4-inch heel is surprisingly comfortable.
Here, Reed creatively mixes materials and textures for a unique design.
This painted leather and tejus lizard sandal is so cool. The ankle strap was inspired by a Japanese kimono, and the solid white block heel makes this an ideal spring sandal.
Reed uses textured sharkskin leather as opposed to the traditional alternative. These simple flat sandals look great with my favorite boyfriend jeans or a pair of tailored black shorts. Either way, they are the perfect addition to any girl’s summer ensemble.
