Even though she now resides in Los Angeles—a city where T-shirts and flip-flops qualify as business attire—Victoria Beckham has maintained her commitment to getting dolled up. Whether on the red carpet or a school run, the Spice Girl–turned–soccer wife appears perpetually polished in tight little getups and towering heels. Her eponymous dress collection, unveiled during New York Fashion Week in September, reflects that sensibility.

The day and evening looks feature lean silhouettes and corseted bodices; fabrics like basket-weave cotton, fine gazar and silk georgette; and touches of Indian embroidery and hand-sewn beading. Retailing for $1,400 to $3,500, the line will be sold at Bergdorf Goodman and select Neiman Marcus stores. “I want it to be sexy and flattering, but in a way women will find sexy,” Beckham told Women’s Wear Daily, W’s sister publication.
