MJ Rodriguez Is Making a Solo Album, and Other Secrets Revealed by the Pose Cast
Dominique Jackson hosted a conversation with her “Pose” costars Billy Porter, Indya Moore, MJ Rodriguez, Angel Bismark Curiel, and Ryan Jamaal Swain.
Dominique Jackson plays Elektra Abundance, a former house mother and a member of the House of Evangelista, on the show Pose. And in real life, she retains that maternal instinct, caring and nurturing, loving of her children despite the shrewd personality traits she presents on the hit FX program. Jackson demonstrated the attributes of patience and camaraderie with her costars on W magazine’s Instagram Live Tuesday, when she interviewed MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Billy Porter, Ryan Jamaal Swain, and Angel Bismark Curiel. In true motherly form, Jackson led conversations on trans rights, the current anti-racism movement, how to take care of oneself, and more with the cast. Some even revealed side projects—Rodriguez said she’s working on her first solo album, while Swain admitted he’s been spending time writing a novel.
