Pernille Teisbaek’s Wedding Was an Instagram Dream, Complete With a Custom Vera Wang Gown
If your explore page is typically stuffed with posts picked for “fashion insiders,” then chances are that you’ve already seen Pernille Teisbaek‘s nuptials to her longtime boyfriend Philip Lotko, which took place over the weekend. The Scandinavian blogger’s wedding was the very definition of Instagram goals, which perhaps isn’t surprising considering the bride has a following of over 480,000. Still, despite it being the end of the summer and the tail end of wedding season, Teisbaek’s wedding was far from the many others that have been dominating your feed for the past few months. For starters, the bride wore an unexpected silhouette, designed by bridal couture figurehead, Vera Wang.
Naturally, Teisbaek, who also serves as the stylist and creative director of fashion marketing agency Social Zoo, shared some detailed snapchats of her gown on Instagram. With ivory daffodil lace, Teisbaek gave a new, subtle spin to this year’s floral trend. She also showed that long sleeves don’t have to be matronly, as she wore ones decadently adorned with dahlia chantilly lace. “Minutes before the big YES??,” she captioned a photo that showed off the gown’s stunning train.
Adding to the whimsy of the whole affair, which took place at the 12th century St Ib’s Church in Bornholm, Denmark, Teisbaek accessorized with a pearl-encrusted belt by Weddings by Gudnitz, which was also responsible for her flowing lace veil.
She also paired her Vera Wang wedding dress with ornate white Manolo Blahnik heels, which she revealed on her Instagram prior to her nuptials. “Weekend lineup?? #lookdelotko2017,” she captioned the photo, which adorably included a pair of white baby’s sneakers, presumably for her son with Lotko, who was born this past March.
“..and they lived happily ever after?❤️ #lookdelotko2017,” Teisbaek wrote under a family portrait of the trio.
To top off the stylish affair, the bride and groom drove off in a vintage convertible trailing cans and lace, proving that the wedding exit is just as important as the entrance.
