Paris Hilton, Irina Shayk, and Half of Fashion Partied at a Sexy, Metallic-Only Bash in Ibiza

The Met Gala may be the poshest fashion party on the calendar, but theme parties with dress codes are always a little bit more fun in the summer, especially when the guidelines are less “black tie” and more “as much skin as you want.” Indeed, the fashion pack always seems to have one or two exclusive sexy-themed parties in the far flung corners of the globe every summer, and this year’s hottest may have been photographer duo Mert & Marcus’s “Metal Mania” party in Ibiza. A bevy of supermodels including Irina Shayk, Natasha Poly, and River Viiperi, nightlife personalities like Cathy Guetta and Jodie Harsh, designers like Riccardo Tisci, “hot math teacher” Pietro Boselli, and, of course, the singular Paris Hilton turned out for the event. As the name implies, the dress code was metallic—often in the form of minidresses and elaborate breast plates, but for some guests the less metal the better.

Evidence of the fete quickly made its way to Instagram, but none of the captions seemed to indicate any rhyme or reason for the party (there wasn’t any major corporate sponsor and both photographers have already celebrated their birthdays this year). Though, it is August in Ibiza. No one really needs any more reason than that to throw a bacchanal.

Shayk showed up in a gold feather minidress with Tisci (who is apparently still making time for the gym since taking the design reigns at Burberry) in a Roman soldier-esque breastplate.

Hilton opted for silver, with some steampunk-worthy goggles.

Poly went for a full bodysuit, and posed with her photographer hosts.

Argentinian fashion Marino Morena posed with Cathy Guetta and Hilton (here in a different headpiece).

Viiperi, incidentally one of Hilton’s exes, also showed up.

Model Ophelie Guillermand was dripping in crystals.

Boselli was on hand, shirtless naturally.

Though here, seen with London nightlife queenpin and drag queen Harsh, he did manage to find some more clothing.
