Monica Rose, Former Stylist to the Kardashians, Is Now Dressing Sofia Richie
Monica Rose, the celebrity stylist who was a favorite of the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan for years, left the power family’s team permanently last May, but Rose has recently reentered the Kardashian’s orbit, in a way, as stylist to Sofia Richie.
In case you haven’t been following the story: After years of working with the family and frequently appearing in their Snapchats and even on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Rose left the glam squad practically overnight because of mysterious circumstances. Whatever the reasons were, it was enough for all the Kardashians to immediately unfollow Rose on social media.
It’s now a year later, and Rose, who has continued to style celebs like Gigi Hadid and Chrissy Teigen, posted a pic of her newest high-profile client: Sofia Richie, who is, of course, dating Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex and the father to her children. As Cosmo notes, the photo revealing the new collaboration between Rose and the 19-year-old Richie showed Richie in a fuchsia Alexandre Vauthier dress.
Whether or not there’s currently any bad blood between Rose and the Kardashian-Jenners is unknown, as the family has stayed (mostly) tight-lipped about their falling out, but Richie at least has the Kardashian stamp of approval.
“Kourtney now trusts Sofia,” a source told People in May. “The kids are allowed to spend time with her. Sofia likes having them and helps Scott. So far, the kids are giving Kourtney good reports about Sofia.”
The Kardashian-Jenner’s glam squad has seen more tumult in the past couple of weeks as well. In late June, longtime Kar-Jen makeup artist Joyce Bonelli allegedly parted ways with the family. Many speculated that she had been fired, but Bonelli revealed to People on Friday that while the separation with the Kardashians was “personal,” she “wasn’t fired and I love all of them and I’m proud of them, too.” Bonelli did hint that there was a conflict, though, saying, “Who hasn’t gotten in a fight with their girlfriends?”
