Following in the footsteps of Rose Gilroy, the Gerber siblings, and Selah Marley, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s daughter, Maya Thurman-Hawke is the latest Hollywood scion to get into modeling. This September, it was revealed that the 18-year-old is the new face of the British brand All Saints, and she appeared both in the Spring 2017 campaign and accompanying fashion film, titled “Far From Here,” where she runs through the woods in her hometown of Woodstock, New York.

Currently a freshman at the Juilliard School in New York City, Thurman-Hawke has made many red carpet appearances with both her mother and father, and stepped out on her own as Zac Posen’s muse at the 2015 CFDA Awards. She’s since cut her hair short and has landed a role in the upcoming film, Get Lost, which will premiere sometime next year.

Her father told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival that she’s not in modeling or acting for the fame, however.

“She did that modeling gig so that she didn’t have to ask me for spending money,” Hawke said. “She’s studying to be an actress and so I think she does look beautiful [in the All Saints video], but what I’m really most proud of is how beautiful she is inside, because she truly is.”

So, despite her famous parents and bright future, Thurman-Hawke may be the most grounded scion ever to enter the entertainment business.
