What: Cocktails hosted by Galerie Estação and Marni honoring the opening of “Becoming Marni,” a new site-specific installation by Brazilian artist Véio, at the Venice Biennale.

When: Thursday, May 7th

Where: The San Gregorio Abbey in Venice, Italy.

Who: The artist was accompanied by a fashionable group of Italian tastemakers like Erica Pelosini and Johnny Pigozzi.

Why: The catacombs of San Gregorio Abbey looked particularly romantic decked out with the Brazilian sculptor’s wooden sculptures—but it was the sunset that everything brought the whole exhibit to life.
