Marion Cotillard Plays It Cool Ahead of Her Film Premiere

A hint of Delpozo futurism out on the town in Cannes.

Cannes Film Festival 2016: What Everyone Wore

Who: Marion Cotillard.

When: Saturday, May 14.

Where: The Chopard and Annabel’s party at the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival.

What: A purple turtleneck with a fishtail by Delpozo, paired with oxblood patent leather pants.

Why: Just one night after the Chopard x Annabel’s evening, Cotillard donned a shimmering gold Dior gown for the premiere of her new film Mal de pierres. Here, she seems to be holding out for the main event, taking a low-key approach to the Cannes nightlife in a color-blocked, slightly futuristic and kind of weird (that fishtail?) Delpozo ensemble. Plus, it’s the color palette of a bunch of grapes — chic and sweet.
