Louis Vuitton: Fashion Photography
Since the 1950s, Louis Vuitton’s designs have been chronicled extensively in photography, both for ads and for magazine editorials. A new tome, edited by Michel Mallard and published by Rizzoli, documents this rich visual history in reverse chronological order, starting with minimalist, stylized photographs by William Klein and Jerome Ducrot in the ‘50s, and continuing to the provocative fashion images by Terry Richardson, Michael Thompson and Inez & Vinoodh in more recent years. See some of the book’s highlights here.
