Lisa Perry Pops

I’ve never been much into leather jackets, but a leather jacket that’s a work of art is a whole other story. To accompany Robert Indiana’s “Beyond LOVE” retrospective (September 26-January 5th) at the Whitney Museum, the pop-art clothing designer Lisa Perry has turned five pieces of her clothing line into Indiana–embossed works, with his estate’s blessing, of course. My favorite is this statement jacket. Only 50 or fewer of each style will be sold, so if you’re a collector, run to her boutique now. There might be only 49 left if I have my way.
