Lara Stone Balances Work and Play in Christopher Kane
The Dutch model sports a look that toes the line between conservative and playful.

What: A Christopher Kane Pre-Fall 2016 black dress with black and white loop embellishments.
Why: Stone’s look (a British designer, suitable for an event celebrating British Vogue) strikes the balance between conservative and daring. With long sleeves, a long skirt, and in neutral black and white, it could be almost dour, but the loops holding it together add intrigue and a flash of skin. It’s no Cannes look, and that’s kind of the point.
