Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry Celebrated Taylor Swift’s New Album Together

It’s no secret that pop star Katy Perry, reality star Kim Kardashian West and her husband, rapper Kanye West, aren’t exactly the biggest fans of Taylor Swift. Or vice verse. They’ve had a break in recent months from having to deal with Swift at all as she’s basically stopped doing any public appearances, but in the run-up to her latest album release, her image has become harder to avoid. So when Reputation dropped yesterday, Kardashian took her daughter North West someplace she knew they would be safe from all Swifties: a Katy Perry concert.

This information comes courtesy of where all of the Swift-Kardashian-West drama last exploded: Snapchat, the app that Kardashian used to publicly broadcast a video of Swift amicably chatting with West about his song “Famous.” But the latest videos were of a more wholesome nature, though assumedly no less bothersome to Swift: videos of Kardashian backstage with Perry, as well as singing from the front row with North in her arms.

Kardashian’s mother-daughter outing may have been innocent in intention, but had plenty of baggage to make it a topic of interest. But perhaps Swift had it coming. When Perry’s most recent album, Witness, came out, Swift chose that day to put her entire discography back on Spotify. Suspicious timing, to be certain.

But don’t cry for Swift just yet. While her enemies might be banding together, she still has the squad going strong. Yesterday, her most loyal members, including Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, and Martha Hunt all showed their support for Reputation on social media. Hadid even tweeted out her seemingly two favorite tracks from the album, so if you were looking to make a supermodel-approved playlist, there seems to be a good place to start.
