Kim Kardashian Went To A Beyoncé Concert, Where She Seemingly Had the Best Time
Considering we have Kim Kardashian to thank for such questionably cool trends like bike shorts, “slime hair,” and tiny sunglasses, it’s only a matter of time before we’re all dressing like real-life Barbie dolls—if her outfit from this weekend’s Beyoncé concert is any indication, that is.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star went all out for Bey and Jay-Z’s On the Run II show in Los Angeles Sunday night, wearing a head-to-toe pink ensemble that looks like it came straight from Barbie’s closet. She paired a light-pink bodysuit with a pair of neon Lycra pants and chainlink stilettos, and finished the look with a white mini Birkin. Considering how much Kim K and Barbie have in common—massive houses, enviable closets, far too many careers to fit on a standard single-page resumé—it’s not exactly surprising that Kardashian would turn to the iconic doll for a little fashion inspo.
Regardless of what the Internet may choose to believe about the Kardashian-Wests’ friendship with the Carters (especially after Kanye recently posted a photo of Beyoncé wearing shoes he incorrectly thought to be Yeezys), that didn’t stop Kardashian from going full fan-girl while at the show. She brought Kourtney Kardashian and Larsa Pippen along, and despite being some of the most famous humans on earth (aside from Beyoncé herself) the squad behaved like any normal humans would when seeing the queen in action. Kardashian posted Instagram story after story of herself toasting with her friends, singing along to Bey’s greatest hits, and dancing in her surprisingly groove-friendly pink pants.
Though Kardashian’s infamous Kanye West-led closet makeover left her with a wardrobe comprising mostly black, white, and nude clothes (and far fewer pairs of shoes), she’s been making moves toward a brighter fashion palette of late. She was recently spotted in neon green looks on four separate occasions (one of which she matched her slime-colored hair to her car, because of course) and wore a similar Barbie-pink look to Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday extravaganza.
