Kendall Jenner Takes a Page From Rihanna’s Book, Brings Back the Luxe Graphic Tee

In Los Angeles, sitting court side at a Lakers’ game is the next best thing to sitting front row at fashion week. And Kendall Jenner, who can often be found at the Staples Center cheering with friends Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, and of course, the rest of the Kardashians—is a professional street style athlete.

At Tuesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, the supermodel demonstrated her unique knack for laid-back luxury with a “Dior Addict” graphic tee paired with vintage Levi’s jeans — both from What Goes Around Comes Around — and Yeezy-inspired clear boots. She styled the look with fishnet tights, hoop earrings, and a messy bun, sans scrunchie.

In addition to a throwback Dior reference, Jenner’s outfit was perhaps an homage to Rihanna, who was LeBron James’ No. 1 fan before he moved from the Lakers to the Cavaliers. She practically invented the court side fashion equation of heels, jeans, and a graphic tee. But Jenner decided to take a more fashion-centric route with a shoutout to Dior, whose most recent collection featured numerous graphic t-shirts, including one with a feminist message.

If anything though, Jenner’s look begs the question: Is luxury brand affiliation the next iteration of merch? (Well, don’t ask her sister, Kylie, who just launched her own line of graphic tees.)
