Newly Engaged Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner Post Incredible Instagram of PDA Taken By Artist JR
Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, who famously kept their relationship mostly off social media, just uploaded a professionally shot photo of themselves making out on Instagram. The picture, taken by the French artist JR, features the newly engaged couple wrapped in a late-night embrace in a backyard while a spotlight behind them radiates a halo-like glow. Kloss, exhibiting a healthy dose of self-awareness, captioned it “PDA ❤️.”
It’s an uncharacteristically touchy-feely display for the pair, who historically chose to keep their romance under wraps. “It’s not like I’ve ever wanted to be so secretive about my private life,” Kloss told Porter magazine in April, per Entertainment Tonight. “Carolina Herrera always says, ‘A woman who’s an open book is boring.’ There’s no mystery anymore. I know in my life what really matters to me. I’m not trying to hide that from the world; I just really like having a more private private life. I’ve got nothing to hide, though!”
Last month, however, the model spoke about her recent shift toward being more open about her and Kushner’s relationship on social media. “I don’t think there’s been a change—it’s more just sharing more parts of my life, and he’s a big part of it,” she told W.
A few weeks later, on July 24, she confirmed her engagement to Kushner with a post on Instagram. “I love you more than I have words to express,” she captioned a photo of her kissing the venture capitalist’s cheek at the beach. “Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over ?.”
She followed up the news with a front-and-center showcase of her engagement ring on her Instagram Story. People described it as a “high-carat, cushion-cut diamond in a platinum solitaire setting, with a diamond pavé band.” “My phone is blowing up with the sweetest ??? messages from loved ones,” she captioned the photo, which she took while getting her makeup done. “This poor make up artist is gonna kill me.”
The next few Stories, as W previously wrote, were all of her celebrating her engagement with family and friends, including Princess Beatrice and Serena Williams. Guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of Jarlie (or is it Koshua?).
