Flashback: In Living Color
In 2007, the American conceptual master John Baldessari turned his eye to fashion in this specially commissioned collaboration with the photographer Mario Sorrenti for W‘s second Art Issue. A legendary teacher, Baldessari now has his name etched on more than works of art: The John Baldessari Studio Building recently opened its doors at CalArts, south of L.A. What better time to take a look back at his richly imagined output?
