DEC 22: Jean-Michel Basquiat
Jean-Michel Basquiat, who died in 1988 at age 27, would have turned 50 on December 22. But between Tamra Davis’s recent documentary on his life and the ongoing mega-retrospective at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris—which runs until January 30—it’s like he never left us.
