The almost boyish hair and makeup at Jason Wu’s Fall 2014 show was a departure from the glamour girl look we have come to expect from the designer. Straight, lengthened brows by Diane Kendal for Lancôme framed a face of minimal makeup that had just a touch of black eyeliner, and Odile Gilbert’s “wound up” up-do was “slick and chic, but messed up,” with help from Kérastase Resistance Mousse Volumifique ($42, kerastase-usa.com).
