Wasn’t it really just a matter of time before the woman at the center of television’s most notorious wardrobe malfunction debuted a collection of underwear? In August Janet Jackson launched Pleasure Principle, a lingerie line she created with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi. The collection features 18 looks, including many in satin and lace. “I hate when you’ve had on a bra all day long and you just can’t wait to take it off—every woman has experienced that,” Jackson told WWD. “This line is about detail, fit and comfort as well as beauty and making women feel sexy.” And, presumably, safety from indecent exposure.
