Honey, Do

In August, I worked at the Guerlain counter at Saks Fifth Avenue’s annual Beauty Editors Day (which benefits the cancer charity Look Good Feel Better). To prepare, I tried Guerlain’s new Abeille Royale Repairing Honey Gel Mask the night before. The honey calms and moisturizes, and I loved it so much that I talked two customers into buying a jar. New York facialist Ildi Pekar is also tapping into honey’s healing power with her new skincare line I•Pekar. “Growing up in Budapest, we used honey on cuts, pimples, and chapped lips,” Pekar says. “My rule is, if you’re not sure, use honey.”
