All Dressed Up
What: A celebration of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences exhibition, Hollywood Costume.
When: Wednesday, October 8th
Where: The Wilshire May Company building, the future home of the Academy, in Los Angeles.
Who: Actresses Annette Benning and Gwyneth Paltrow co-hosted the event—which was attended by Rosanna Arquette, Cameron Diaz, Hilary Swank, and more—with Crystal Lourd and Elizabeth Wyatt.
Why: There’s no better excuse to get dressed up than a celebration of Hollywood’s finest costumes of the past, such as Dorothy’s ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz, and present, like Jared Leto’s costumes from Dallas Buyers Club.
