Fresh from a $25 million renovation, Enchantment—a secluded resort tucked inside Sedona, Arizona’s Boynton Canyon—is as well-suited for finding yourself through spiritual enlightenment as it is for losing yourself in sybaritic bliss. (“Mii amo” is a Native American phrase for “journey.”) The sprawling 24,000-square-foot adobe-brick and indigenous-wood building, with 20 treatment rooms and an indoor/outdoor pool, blends seamlessly into the landscape. The treatment menu is every bit as sprawling: more than 100 treatments, including unique offerings like a Flower Essence Bath and an Ayurvedic Dosha Balancing Wrap, both of which incorporate spiritual elements into a wellness routine with practical physical benefits.

When you’ve come back down to Earth, you can enjoy refined organic fare at the Mii amo Cafe or venture uphill to the resort’s Clubhouse for a glass of something at View 180 or a Southwestern take on fine dining at Che-Ah-Chi. End the night on the expansive viewing deck of your suite after a meditative session in your deep-soak tub. It’s difficult to imagine a more elegant approach to enlightenment.
