David Beckham Gave 6-Year-Old Harper Her Very First Soccer Lesson

Harper Beckham just found out her mom used to be a pop star. Now she’s learning about her father’s soccer skills. David Beckham is teaching his youngest child, Harper, 6, his ways. The father of four took to Instagram to share adorable videos of his daughter in a soccer uniform kicking the ball around with her dad.

In the first video, David and Harper hold hands and kick the ball back and forth between the two of them. He captioned the post, “Someone’s ready for her first football lesson.” In the second post, David is doing drills with Harper, throwing the ball to her as she kicks them back in the air. The comments promptly blew up with even more heart emojis and cries of “daddy-daughter goals,” naturally.

Having a soccer star for a dad comes with perks off the field, too. For Harper’s sixth birthday, David took his only daughter to Buckingham Palace to have a tea party with friends, (and Princess Eugenie even stopped by for a photo opp). And recently, the entire Beckham clan, including Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper dropped by the set of Modern Family to pose with Jesse Tyler Ferguson in the Dunphy house. Ferguson even joked about David playing his fictional daughter Lilly’s new soccer coach at the time. Perhaps she could join Harper and David’s private sessions?
