Model Daria Werbowy has spent countless hours in makeup chairs, having her face painted by the biggest names in the business. It was no surprise, then, that when it came time to create her own cosmetics collection for Lancôme—the brand for which she serves as a “face”—she had some firm ideas about what she wanted. Armed with a scrapbook full of color swatches, Werbowy showed up at Lancôme’s Paris lab and emerged with a plan for the Daria Werbowy Collection: a lipstick, gloss and eye shadow quad, all in bronzy tones. “These are the kinds of colors that I wear, but I also wanted something I thought other women would love and find wearable,” said Werbowy. A portion of the proceeds will go to Centro Espacial Vik Muniz, an arts program for underprivileged children in Brazil that Werbowy discovered while on a business trip in the country last year. The limited-edition collection launches globally in April at Sephora. Werbowy, of course, received her stash of products early. Her favorite? The gloss. “I think I’ve gone through two tubes already,” she said.
