Dazzling shoulder-grazing earrings evoke the height of Edwardian opulence. Working in linear designs, Stephen Russell punctuates finely strung diamonds with a big, watery tourmaline, while Taffin and Tiffany opt for stronger color, the former with graduated andesine gems set against delicate pale pink spinels and the latter with vibrant fire opals surrounded by diamonds. Wider silhouettes, meanwhile, look no less romantic. Lavender and green tourmalines make for delicate color play in Abraham Dupont’s chandelier design, and Cathy Waterman’s diamond branch weeps with a single droplet of pink morganite. Talk about dripping with jewels.
