Comme des Garçons made its New York fans happy this morning with the opening of the first U.S. Pocket Shop. Located in Chelsea—where its artful array of brightly colored sportswear staples will blend in perfectly amongst the contemporary art galleries—the polka-dotted space could be mistaken for a Yayoi Kusama installation. Luckily, unlike the Japanese artist’s wares, the pieces won’t break the bank.
