Passing for Brownies

Janice Lipman is the wife of Dr. Frank Lipman, the New York-based holistic doctor who kind of changed my life when he got me off licorice and gluten (for the most part). Lipman’s empire includes several cleanses and wonderfully tasty smoothie recipes, but my heart belongs to Janice since she dreamt up these tasty chocolate, date and coconut confections. Sure, dates are the superhero ingredient, but, for me, the secret is the pinch of sea salt.
