Can one have too many art books? No way. With that question in mind, my first purchase of 2014 was Libby, a book of Polaroids and handwritten notes made in collaboration between the photographer Charles Johnstone and Elizabeth Schoettle. It’s intimate, voyeruristic, totally beautiful—and worthy of a new year’s resolution.
