Channing Tatum, Hollywood Unicorn, Goes Full Unicorn For Halloween
If Halloween was the type of holiday that celebrated gift-giving, Channing Tatum in a unicorn costume would be the best present of all. Over the weekend, the actor and his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, took their daughter, Everly, to her preschool Halloween carnival and, of course, got into costume for the big event. Because Channing is not afraid to dress up—who can forget his epic appearance as both Beyoncé and Elsa from Frozen on Lip Sync Battle?—he did what any good dad would do and went full unicorn.
Channing opted for one-half of a purple costume, complete with a hooded unicorn head featuring a rainbow mane and horn. While the horn was great in theory, it did pose some height challenges while in the car, as seen by a closeup snap from Jenna’s Instagram stories. The actor finished off the look with a purple backpack with rainbow tail, grey sweatpants, blue striped socks, and white sneakers. And, of course, he carried a pumpkin to add a little festive cheer.
Meanwhile, 4-year-old Everly matched her mom in a “nature fairy” costume in green dresses and flower crowns. Jenna posted her outfit to Instagram, captioning it, “This is the wings smashed, Mom somehow ends up holding it all, I survived preschool Halloween carnival nature fairy look?.”
Of course, Channing’s isn’t the first unicorn look in the Tatum household. Last year, Jenna transformed herself into a sparkly mythical beast, complete with silver glittery hair and magical pink-and-blue makeup. While Channing’s costume lacked Jenna’s horn headband and pastel-colored ponytail, his is still a respectable second place.
Either way, let their looks serve as inspiration for October 31—or, you know, life.
