Carrie Fisher Remembered: Hollywood Mourns Another Celebrity Gone in 2016

Carrie Fisher died Tuesday at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack last week.
Best known for her iconic role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies, Fisher was also beloved for her work in films like When Harry Met Sally, as well as for her accomplishments as an author, script doctor, and mental health advocate. Her death comes as yet another crushing blow at the end of a year that has taken some of Hollywood’s most beloved entertainment figures.
In the wake of her passing, Fisher’s legion of fans and admirers, a number of celebrities among them, have taken to social media to express their grief and memories. Among those paying tribute to the star are Star Wars co-stars Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams, Bette Midler, Albert Brooks, as well as younger celebrities like Anna Kendrick and Billy Eichner.
