Cara Delevingne Debuts a Golden Blonde Pixie Cut While Hanging With Ashley Benson
From a buzz cut to long waves, Cara Delevingne hasn’t met a hairstyle she doesn’t like. But her latest might be her most glowing. The model-turned-actress illuminated the red carpet and the room when she was promoting her new film, Her Smell, at Toronto Film Festival.
She showed up to the premiere looking as golden as can be in a striped sequined Balmain dress that complemented her new blonde pixie cut after spending most of the summer with darker hair. While Delevingne has been wearing a pixie crop for some time now, she went with a warmer, honeyed hair color for the event. Her hairstylist Mara Roszak shared the look on Instagram, writing, “Cutie patootie #CaraDelevingne at #tiff can’t get enough of her face and cute #pixie growing out.”
Delevingne balanced out the lighter look by wearing dark brows and a smoky eye that was perhaps a nod to her latest film, which chronicles punk rock in America. Her Smell, which costars Elisabeth Moss and Amber Heard, is where Delevingne and her rumored girlfriend, Ashley Benson, are thought to have first connected. Whether it was the new hair or Benson’s company at TIFF, where the pair stayed close together, Delevingne was radiating.
She looked just as glowing at the film’s afterparty, where she and Benson hung out with Moss. Delevingne switched up her look for the evening, wearing a minimal slip dress and thigh-high boots. Benson opted for a similar vibe, wearing a simple yet elegant red dress and light waves in her blonde lob.
While neither one has yet to officially comment on their relationship, the pair were spotted kissing last month by The Daily Mail and photographed holding hands as they walked around New York City with matching backpacks back in April. At the time, Delevingne responded by trolling all of their nosy fans and sharing pictures with her friend Chloé Caillet, a DJ. In the photos it looked like Benson and Caillet were together with Delevingne as a third wheel. “Found a unicorn,” the photo caption read, nodding to Delevingne’s unicorn headband.
Meanwhile, Benson recently told People that she refused to talk about her love life. “I think it’s the best way in any relationship,” she said. “I’ve always been very private about them, and I think it’s just better.”
