W’s fashion market and accessories director is on the hunt for what’s next.
Working on W‘s February 2015 Hollywood-themed issue, I had California constantly on my mind, and apparently I wasn’t the only one. From the denim at Sonia Rykiel and Chloé to the snakeskin at Proenza Schouler and Carven, a relaxed West Coast air wafted through a number of spring collections. One of my favorite looks happens to be by a California label—Rodarte’s beautifully wrought barn jackets and high-waist jeans are just the kind of easy pieces that could lure me out there.
