Viennese Waltz
W’s fashion market and accessories director is on the hunt for what’s next.
From the dark florals at Alexander McQueen and Nina Ricci to the poetic fringe at Lanvin and Valentino, the fall collections have a rich, bohemian vibe. And as I plan my trip to Paris and Milan this month for the next round of fashion shows, I find myself gravitating toward that look. A fringed skirt, an embroidered coat, and a pair of snakeskin boots are perfectly suited to the romance of Europe in the autumn. I’ve long wanted to visit Vienna and, wardrobe-wise, this might be the time. I can’t think of a better outfit in which to sip mulled wine and stroll along the Danube.
