Ava Phillippe, Daughter of Reese Witherspoon, Is Officially a Fashion Model

If it seems like just about every imaginable celebrity kid is trying out modeling these days, it’s because they are. There’s Kendall Jenner, Sistine Stallone, Paris Jackson, Sofia Richie, Hailey Baldwin—the list goes on and on.

And now, a new famous last name is joining their ranks: Ava Phillippe, daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, who stars in the lookbook for Rodarte’s Fall 2018 collection, released today.

The concept of the lookbook is newsworthy on its own, as Rodarte previously showed their dreamy wares with a traditional runway show during New York Fashion Week, before making the move to Paris this summer to show Spring 2018 during Paris Haute Couture. Now, rather than any of those fashion capitals, the designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy made a surprise drop on Tuesday morning, presenting their new collection entirely through a series of portraits featuring some of the world’s most stylish women.

“We are thrilled to feature women who inspire us in our Fall Winter 2018 portrait series,” the designers wrote in a statement accompanying the images. Joining Phillippe in the lookbook as models are Chloe and Halle Bailey, Black Panther star Danai Gurira, Gia Coppola, Grimes, Hong Chau, Joanna Newsom, Kim Gordon, model Madisyn Ritland, Miranda July, Tessa Thompson, and perennial Rodarte favorite, Kirsten Dunst, who shows off her baby bump in the photos, cradling her very pregnant stomach while wearing a pink, white, and red floral embroidered gown with red and silver dotted tulle.

Also appearing alongside the 18-year-old Phillipe is her friend, actress Rowan Blanchard. The pair have been seemingly inseparable over the past few months, turning up at a Golden Globes after party with Witherspoon, and, just last week, attending the launch of the new Women’s March book, Together We Rise. For her Rodarte image, shot by Autumn de Wilde, Blanchard wears a bright red tulle and sequin halter dress, while Phillippe dons a light pink tulle strapless dress. Elle Woods would certainly approve.
