Right on Target

What: A private shopping event for the Altuzarra for Target collection, hosted by the brands and NET-A-PORTER.com.

Where: The Skylight Clarkson Square in downtown Manhattan.

When: Thursday, September 4th

Who: Actresses Naomi Watts, Naomie Harris, and Keri Russell showed their support in pieces from the collection and sang the praises of the man of the hour, Joseph Altuzarra. Watts gushed over her first dress by the designer, a black cocktail number from Fall 2014. “I got so many compliments on that dress and I’ve never forgotten it,” she said. “[Altuzarra] really makes you feel like a woman,” added Harris. Style stars Liberty Ross, Elettra Wiedemann, and Lily Kwong also joined in on the fun inside the mirrored venue.

Why: Aside from a chance to shop, the evening provided a rare moment with the designer just days away from his Spring 2015 runway show. “It’s been a lot of early morning fittings and a lot of late night fittings,” Altuzarra said. “I’m actually leaving after this party and fitting well into the night. But, I have a lot of fun doing it and I love being with my team so it’s actually a nice thing!”
