Exclusive: From Anja Rubik to Charlotte Gainsbourg, Intimate Portraits of Saint Laurent’s Women (and a Few of its Men)
Anthony Vaccarello, Saint Laurent’s new creative director, came to Miami Tuesday for his first Art Basel fair, and he brought along with him a few of his favorite women, like the model Anja Rubik and the actresses Charlotte Gainsbourg and Elodie Bouchez, plus a few of the male friends of the label, like Travis Scott and Sean Penn’s son, Hopper Jack, a recently signed model. Photographer Saskia Lawaks followed the crew around and got intimate portraits at a dinner with W in Miami’s Design District toasting the opening of the new sexually-charged, va-va-voom exhibit “Desire” by Larry Gagosian and Jeffrey Deitch and curated by Diana Widmaier Picasso.
